    Full support for one or two years of graduate study at any British university (taught and/or research program).

    Rhodes Scholarship Deadline

    Support for two or three years of graduate study at Oxford University (taught and/or research program).

    Luce Scholars Program Deadline

    Provides stipends and internships to live and work in Asia for one year. Luce Scholars will have a record of high achievement, outstanding leadership ability, and a clearly defined career interest with evidence of potential for professional accomplishment. Fifteen awards are given each year.

    Churchill Scholarship Deadline

    This scholarship offers outstanding American students one fully-funded one year of graduate study/research in the sciences, engineering, or mathematics at the University of Cambridge.

    Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships Deadline

    The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans program honors the contributions of immigrants and children of immigrants to the United States. Each year, they 30 applicants are selected to receive a scholarship toward their graduate education. Applicants must be New Americans—immigrants and children of immigrants—who are poised to make significant contributions to US society, culture or their academic field.

    Goldwater Scholarship Round 1 Deadline

    Goldwater is the premier award for undergraduates preparing for careers in engineering, math, and the natural sciences. Applicants are evaluated based on outstanding academic performance and potential for research-focused careers.

    Truman Scholarship Round 1 Deadline

    For students who intend to attend graduate school and wish to have a career in public service, emphasis on policy. Scholars are selected based on leadership and communication skills, intellectual strength and analytical ability, and likelihood of making a difference in public service.

    Yenching Academy Scholarship Deadline

    Yenching Academy is an opportunity to pursue a two-year, interdisciplinary masters degree in China Studies at Peking University in Beijing. Academy courses are available in both Chinese and English; it is possible to complete the degree with courses taught in English. Yenching Academy seeks each year to select a cohort with broad academic and geographic representation who are eager to learn more about China. Candidates are not required to have Chinese language experience but should have a strong interest in China. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree by August in order to accept the scholarship.

    James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program Deadline

    Junior Fellows work for one year as a foreign policy research assistant at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, D.C. Fellows have the opportunity to assist senior associates in research for books, co-author journal articles and policy papers, participate in meetings with high-level officials, contribute to Congressional testimony, and organize briefings for scholars, journalists, and government officials.

    Udall Scholarship Deadline

    For undergraduate students who intend to pursue careers related to the environment, and/or Native American and Alaska Native undergraduate students who intend to pursue careers in health care and tribal public policy.

    Astronaut Scholarship Deadline

    For students majoring in Natural or Applied Science, Engineering or Mathematics who have conducted a considerable amount of research in their field and exhibited motivation, imagination and exceptional performance.

    Beinecke Brothers Memorial Scholarship Deadline

    For students with exceptional academic talent who intend to pursue graduate study in the arts, humanities, or social sciences, either in the U.S. or overseas and receive need-based financial aid.
